Ballet
Ballet students learn the fine art of classical ballet beginning at age 5. Ballet is excellent at instilling coordination, discipline, strength, and building motor skills. It is the core of dance and where students achieve the technique needed for all other dance forms. We have had a handful of our committed ballet students join professional programs and intensives that include Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet in Chicago and the San Francisco Ballet Company.

Early Childhood Dance
Pre Dance is a fun and safe way for children to build motor skills and practice movement. Socialization, creative movement, imagination, and structure are emphasized. Students will learn basic skills such as skipping, galloping, and hopping along with play games to encourage imagination. They will begin learning basic ballet terms and positions. Ballet and tap are offered for pre-schoolers. Click here to sign up.

Jazz
Jazz classes are offered for ages 5 and up or by instructor approval. Jazz builds upon the technique of ballet and emphasizes core strengthening exercises, rhythmic timing, and progressions across the floor. Jazz is set to popular music.

Contemporary & Lyrical
Contemporary and Lyrical are offered when a dancer has achieved a maturity with their movement; generally around age 10. These popular dance forms take the principles of ballet and work to take a dancer off of their center. These dance forms are focused on artistry, style, and quality of movement.

Boys
Dance is great for boys!! It helps to build strength, coordination, fitness, and agility. Whether you want your boys to take dance to help with sports or just because they like it, dance can be excellent for boys to build their confidence. The dance world has ample opportunities for boys and young men who want to pursue dance too!

Acro
Our Acro classes follow the official Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. Acro Dance is the beautiful fusion of the artistic motion of dance and the athleticism of acrobatics. It is not the same as gymnastics. An Acro dancer must complete all skills on the hard stage without the advantage of a sprung floor, while seamlessly integrating musicality, emotional expression, extension, control, and line. Acro students must take at least one additional dance class to develop the necessary dance technique for Acro.

Tap
Tap classes are offered for ages 4 and up or with instructor approval. Tap focuses on intricate footwork with an emphasis on rhythm and syncopation. Tap is excellent for coordination and muscle development.
